WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Kayleigh Hoagland has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 6-12. Hoagland led the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team to a victory over Colgate in its only meet last week. 

During Sunday's 167-128 win over the Raiders, Hoagland won three individual events for the Crusaders. She placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (25.12), 100-yard freestyle (54.59) and 200-yard freestyle (1:57.82). She also swam the anchor leg on Holy Cross' 200-yard freestyle relay team which posted the fastest time of the day (1:42.44).

On the season, Hoagland owns the fastest times on the team in the 50-yard freestyle (24.13), 100-yard freestyle (52.36) and 200-yard freestyle (1:51.99).

The Crusaders (3-2 in dual meets) return to action on Saturday, Jan. 18, when they face Providence in their final home meet of the year at 1:00 p.m.
