A preseason All-Patriot League selection in 2020, catcher Riley Livingston has been a mainstay behind the plate for the Holy Cross baseball team, providing keen defensive talent and strong leadership during his time on The Hill.
In 2019, Livingston caught 18 would-be base stealers, more than any catcher in the Patriot League and third-most in single-season program history. He ranks third in program history with 32 runners caught stealing and seventh in Holy Cross history with 602 career putouts. With a career fielding percentage of .993, he also sits in the top five in program history in that category.
In 2020, Livingston batted .268 with a pair of doubles and six RBI over 13 appearances. In 2018, he earned the team’s Ray Dobens Award as the Crusaders’ most improved player.
Livingston (Redondo Beach, Calif.) will graduate Holy Cross with a degree in political science, and has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in his career.
