Senior Ella Grey of the Holy Cross women’s track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Feb. 3 – 9.

Grey broke her own indoor 60m hurdles school record with a time of 8.58 to win the finals at the Showdown at The Heights on Feb. 7. She previously set the record (8.63) at the Indoor Patriot League Championship on Feb. 25, 2023. The next day at the URI Coaches Invitational on Feb. 8, she reset the 60m hurdles record again with a time of 8.56 for first in the finals. This time currently ranks her second in the Patriot League in the event.

The Holy Cross track and field teams will head to Boston, Mass., to compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University at the BU Track & Tennis Center. The men will compete first on Feb. 14 and the women will participate the following day on Feb. 15.
