Holy Cross Athletics

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Alessandro Bizzarri has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 28-November 3. Bizzarri led the Holy Cross men’s tennis team in action at the Holy Cross Invitational last weekend.

During the Holy Cross Invitational, Bizzarri posted a perfect 3-0 record in the Flight B singles draw. He downed Hugo Cote of Nichols 6-3, 6-1 in his opening match, before defeating Alec Martinez of Bryant 6-2, 6-1. Bizzarri wrapped up the competition by topping Marcus Macaulay of Bryant 6-1, 2-6, (10-5).

Over the course of his collegiate career, Bizzarri now stands 12-21 in singles play.

Holy Cross has concluded the fall portion of its season, and will return to action in the spring of 2025.
