WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior forward Ethan Gill has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 14-20. Gill helped lead the Holy Cross men’s soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Navy on Sunday.

During the win over the Midshipmen, Gill scored the game-winning goal in the 33rd minute. He headed the ball into the net from two yards out near the right post to give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead, after a throw in from sophomore midfielder Kevin Cull deflected off a defender.

On the season, Gill now has four points on one goal and two assists. Over the course of his collegiate career, he has totaled 20 points on seven goals and six assists in 45 games played.

Holy Cross (3-9-3 overall, 2-3-1 Patriot League) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 26, when it plays host to Army West Point in its Senior Day game at 6 p.m.
