Junior Haley Murphy of the Holy Cross women's track and field team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for May 6 – 12.

From Friday to Saturday, May. 10-11, Murphy competed at the NEICAAA Championship hosted by Holy Cross on the Hart Turf Field & Hart Track. She was a member of the women's 4x400m relay team that broke the 14 year old school record in the final to take silver clocking in at 3:48.49. The previous time, 3:48.97 was set back in 2010 at Bucknell (Anderson '11, Gorski '13, Reid '10, Pruszko '10). Murphy also won the gold in the 400m hurdles final crossing the finish at 1:01.54. Her scoring efforts helped to lead the Crusaders to a second place overall finish becoming the 2024 NEICAAA Championship runner-ups with a total of 83.5 points.

The Holy Cross track and field teams concluded the 2024 outdoor season and will return next winter for the 2024-25 indoor season.
