WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior forward Max Krause has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from Sept. 13-19. Krause tallied one goal and two assists for the Holy Cross men's soccer team in a pair of games last week.

During Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss at Boston College, Krause recorded one goal and one assist. He set up a goal by freshman forward Evan Jones to tie the game at 1-1 in the 80th minute, before scoring a goal of his own in the 84th minute to tie the score at 2-2 and force overtime. Then in Saturday's 2-1 victory over American, Krause recorded an assist on Jones' goal in the 54th minute to tie the game at 1-1 as the Crusaders came from behind for the win.

On the season, Krause is tied for the team lead in scoring with nine points on two goals and five assists. Over the course of his Holy Cross career, he has now totaled 11 goals and 18 assists for 40 points in 58 games played. His 18 career assists are tied for the most in program history.

The Crusaders (4-1-2 overall, 1-0-0 Patriot League) will return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 21, when they travel to Northeastern for a 6:00 p.m. game.
