Cross country announces 2026 schedule

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross Richard L. Ahern '51 Director of Cross Country and Track and Field Egetta Alfonso and head cross country coach Stephanie Reilly have announced the Crusaders' men's and women's cross country schedules for the 2026 season. Both the men's and women's programs will compete in seven meets this fall, including the New England Championship, the Patriot League Championship and the NCAA Northeast Regional.

The Crusaders will start the season on Sept. 5, heading to Amherst, Mass., for the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational. In mid-September, they head to Dartmouth, Mass., for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on the 19th.

Holy Cross will kick off October with a trip to Bethlehem, Pa. on the 2nd, competing in the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh. Next, they travel to Hopkinton, N.H., for the New England Championship held at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds on the 9th. The Crusaders return later on Oct. 23 and head to Attleboro, Mass. to race in the Rothenberg Run hosted by Brown University.

The last two meets of the season for Holy Cross will be the Patriot League Championship hosted by Bucknell on Oct. 31 and the NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 13, in Farmingdale, N.Y.
