Joseph Mahon wins 2026 Ken O’Brien Invitational in men's cross country season opener

AMHERST, Mass.- Senior Joseph Mahon won the 2026 Ken O'Brien Invitational with a time of 18:38.1 in the 6k on Saturday, Sept. 5 at UMass Amherst. Mahon took first place by more than 10 seconds in the Crusaders' season opener. Freshman Ian Morgan placed 10th overall in his first collegiate race with a time of 19:38.1. Holy Cross finished 3rd overall at the meet with 51 total points.
