He was named First Team All-Patriot League for his performance and is only the second Crusader in program history to earn this honor from the Patriot League (Sean McCarthy, 2000, First Team). Mahon and teammate Lyons are the first two Holy Cross athletes to make an All-League team since 2003. He was selected as Crusader of the Week once this season.

Off the course, Mahon has volunteered his time with the Holy Cross Office of Sustainability, participating in campus clean-ups. His season PR in the 5k was 15:15.09 (first, first collegiate win) and his season PR in the 8k was 24:06.52 (fourth). The two-time captain has come in the top five in four of the five meets he ran in and scored points in every race he competed in this year (either top scorer or second top scorer). Lyons was Holy Cross's second point scorer at the 2025 Patriot League Championship, crossing the finish at 24:50.0 (13th, 13 pts.). Liam and teammate Mahon are the first two Holy Cross athletes to make an All-League team since 2003. He was a two-time Patriot League XC Runner of the Week and Crusader of the Week once this season.
