Moran, Kulis school record performances highlight women’s track and field’s weekend at Northeastern and Duke

The Holy Cross women's track and field team competed at the Jay Carisella and Joe Donahue Coaches Invitational, hosted by Northeastern, as well as the Duke Twilight meet over the weekend of May 2-3.

Freshman Megan Moran claimed the first school record of the weekend, posting a time of 10:56.91 at Northeastern. Her time surpassed previous record holder Caitlin Tzimorotas '21's mark of 11:16.18 by over 19 seconds. Moran now holds the school records in both the 2,000m and 3,000m steeplechase events. She set the 2,000m steeplechase record earlier this season at the Jim Kavanagh Legacy Invitational with a time of 7:20.91. Moran currently ranks 11th in the Patriot League in the 3,000m steeplechase.

Senior Celia Kulis reset her school record in the 100m hurdles, clocking in a time of 13.55 to finish tied for sixth at Duke Twilight. Kulis' hurdle time currently leads the Patriot League.
