WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross men's ice hockey senior defenseman Lachlan Getz signed an amateur tryout (ATO) with the Springfield Thunderbirds, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the St. Louis Blues.

A staple in the Crusaders' lineup this season, Getz ranked second on the team with 47 blocked shots and third with a +10 rating in 32 games, while tacking on five assists.

Getz finished his two seasons at Holy Cross with 13 assists over 70 games played.
