WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross men's lacrosse freshman attacker Aedan Cassidy was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Cassidy finished Saturday's route of Le Moyne with a team-leading four goals and three caused turnovers, and was second on the team with four ground ball pickups. His 3+ goal effort marked his second hat trick in ten days (2/11 at Merrimack).

Cassidy has now picked up at least a goal in all five games this season, leading the team in points (15) and goals (11).

Cassidy and the Crusaders (3-2) return to action on Saturday, Feb. 28 when they travel to West Point, N.Y. to face No. 8 Army at 12 p.m.
