PROVIDENCE, R.I. —  A series of underclassmen produced noteworthy performances for the Holy Cross men's track and field team at the Brown University Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 21. 

MEET HIGHLIGHTS: 

• Freshman Nic Oglesby cleared 1.90 meters in the high jump to place second overall and set a new personal record of 6.72 meters in the long jump.
• Sophomore Tireni Asenuga recorded a season-best mark of 13.51 meters in the triple jump to place second overall. He also finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 6.68 meters.
• Freshman Jake Baker placed seventh in the shot put, recording a best and final throw of 14.31 meters. Baker also finished fifth in the weight throw with a mark of 16.88m.
• Junior Nate Greenberg placed seventh in the long jump, posting a mark of 6.35 meters on his opening attempt.
• Junior CJ Oltmer finished ninth in the shot put, hitting a mark of 12.90m.

UP NEXT: 

• The Crusaders return to action next weekend at the Patriot League Championships. Competition begins Saturday, Feb. 28, and concludes Sunday, Mar. 1.
