WORCESTER, Mass. – 15 members of the Holy Cross field hockey team have been named to the 2025 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, as announced by the NFHA Wednesday morning.
The Division I National Academic Squad honors undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. This year's squad was comprised of 1,170 student-athletes from 82 institutions.
The Crusaders' honorees include seniors
Julia Carrozza (biology) and
Izzy van der Spuy (physics); juniors
Marissa MacLean (economics),
Charlotte Powers (political science),
Maguire Sturgis (biology), and
Saskia Williams (economics); sophomores
Kendall Brady (biology),
Mia McCloskey (mathematics),
Jocelyn Monti (biology), and
Judy Rodolakis (architectural studies & economics); and freshmen
Alexa Birch,
Ainsley Clough,
Rachel Egan,
Maeve Kiernan, and
Hadley Rand.
Carrozza and van der Spuy were additionally honored for receiving the honor four times.
