WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross sophomore
Quinn McCall was named Atlantic Hockey Defenseman of the Week, as announced by the league Tuesday morning.
McCall scored the game-tying goal in Friday's 2-1 win over Arizona State, sparking the comeback for the Crusaders with under two minutes to play, as he remained on the ice for the game-winning goal 11 seconds later. On Saturday, McCall sent a perfectly placed pass to
Owen Kim who scored on the play to give Holy Cross the 2-1 lead in the second period. McCall led all skaters with four blocked shots in Friday's game, and finished with five on the weekend.
McCall and the Crusaders (2-2) return home to open their Atlantic Hockey schedule on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. at the Hart Center Rink. Tickets to the matchups are available at
