The Holy Cross women's basketball team puts its five-game winning streak on the line against the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Hart Center Arena with tip-off slated for 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HOLY CROSS (8-5, 2-0 Patriot League):
- The Crusaders used an 11-2 fourth quarter run to break a 47-all tie en route to a 66-55 victory at Navy on Saturday.
- Senior Kaitlyn Flanagan hit a layup with 7:47 to play that broke the deadlock then junior Kendall Eddy stole the ensuing inbounds pass and buried a three to spark the 11-2 run.
- Freshman Asia Wilson capped the run with a jumper that extended the Holy Cross lead to 58-49 with 3:24 remaining.
- Head coach Candice Green's team had two players score 20-plus points to lead the way offensively as senior Meg Cahalan led all scorers with 22 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Eddy hit four threes on her way to a career-high 21.
- Eddy's career-high eclipsed her previous-best of 19 points that had been set in a win over Lafayette on Jan. 11, 2025.
- Holy Cross limited Navy to eight points over the final eight minutes of the contest and forced five turnovers during that stretch.
- Cahalan has scored 20 or more points on four occasions this season and ranks tied for fourth in the Patriot League at 15.8 points per game, while sitting fifth in field goal percentage at 45.2%.
- Elsewhere for Holy Cross, Flanagan tallied six assists in Saturday's victory over Navy and leads the conference at 4.2 apg. The Plymouth Meeting, Pa., native ranks eighth all-time in program history with 463 assists.
- Wednesday marks the beginning of a stretch that sees the Crusaders play seven of their next nine games at home between now and Feb. 2.
MOUNTAIN HAWK QUICK HITS (6-7, 2-0 Patriot League):
- Lehigh outscored Bucknell by a 34-12 margin and rolled to a 74-43 win over the Bison on Saturday at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem.
- Leia Edwards led the way for the Mountain Hawks with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Lily Fandre added 14 points of her own.
- Edwards averaged a double-double (16.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg) in two wins last week and was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday for the fourth time this season.
- Lehigh features a balanced scoring attack with five players averaging double figures headlined by Edwards (14.1 ppg), Fandre (13.8 ppg) and Whitney Lind (13.7 ppg).
- As a team, the Mountain Hawks rank second in the league in both scoring (67.0 ppg) and field goal percentage (41.9 ppg).
- Edwards is also the team's top rebounder at 7.2 rpg and ranks seventh in the Patriot League in both scoring and rebounding.
LAST TIME THEY MET:
- Lehigh won all three meetings during the 2024-25 campaign including a 65-44 victory in the Patriot League semifinals on Mar. 13, 2025. Then-junior Simone Foreman led the Crusaders with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the contest.
- Holy Cross holds a 50-34 edge in the all-time series.
