WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's hockey team had 20 student-athletes named to the 2024-25 Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
The Crusader's list was highlight by senior defenseman
Matt Shatsky and senior goaltender
Thomas Gale who appeared for the fourth time in their careers.
Junior forward
Jack Seymour made his third appearance on the list, while senior defenseman
Nic Petruolo, junior forwards
Matt DeBoer and
Devin Phillips, junior defenseman
Mack Oliphant, and sophomore defensemen
Will Elias and
Will Troutwine were named to the team for the second time. The 11 Crusaders named for the first time in their career were senior forward
Michael Hodge, junior defenseman
Lachlan Getz, sophomore forwards
Jack Stockfish and
Connor Welsh, freshmen forwards
Owen Kim,
Matt Kursonis,
Edward Moskowitz, and
Jarrod Smith, freshmen defensemen
Ryan Buckley and
Ben LeFranc, and freshman netminder
Malachi Klassen.
The Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team honors those student-athletes who posted a GPA of 3.0 or above for both semesters of the 2024-25 academic year. A total of 247 student-athletes were named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team.
