WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior outfielder Ali Sniegocki, a member of the Holy Cross softball team, has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
Sniegocki, an economics major, earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.660, concluding the fall of her junior year. She started in all 45 games on the season and slashed .252/.298/.457 on 38 hits, 13 doubles, six home runs, 15 runs scored and 17 RBIs. She took eight walks and stole four bases while making 90 putouts and three assists in center field for the Crusaders. The captain led the Crusaders in slugging percentage, runs scored, RBIs, doubles, home runs and total bases taken. She was second on the team in stolen bases and hits. She was fourth in the league for doubles and sixth in home runs. The Pennsylvanian contributed to every Holy Cross win, but one, on the year, either scoring or batting in a runner. Most notably, she went 1-for-4, scoring one run, crushing a two-RBI double in the 6-5 victory over Army on Apr. 13.
Off the field, Sniegocki has volunteered her time helping out at numerous youth softball clinics, both hosted by Holy Cross and by local town softball teams and provides private hitting lessons for kids ages 10-12 in the off season. This year, Holy Cross softball signed Chloe Moody through Team IMPACT. The captain has been extremely involved and dedicated to making Chloe's experience as positive and inclusive as possible. As a member of the softball Team IMPACT leadership group, she works very closely with Chloe and her family, helping to organize events, game day and practice experiences for their new teammate to be a part of.
The Holy Cross softball team concluded the 2025 season with an 8-37 overall and 1-17 conference record.
