WORCESTER, Mass. – Eight Crusaders on the Holy Cross track and field teams have been named to the Outdoor Track and Field All-Patriot League Teams at the conclusion of the 2024-25 Patriot League Outdoor Championship.
Senior captain Haley Murphy and the members of the women's 4x100m relay team, including freshmen Abby Desmarais and Danielle DiEsso, junior Giavanna Ciaravino and senior captain Molly O'Connor, were all named First Team All-Patriot League. Murphy took the gold in the 400m hurdles final, setting a new Patriot League meet record and new school record for the third time this season, clocking in at 59.08. The women's 4x400m relay won the gold and a new school record with a time of 46.00.
Senior captains Brian Fennelly and Maura Switzer, as well as junior Celia Kulis, were all named Second Team All-Patriot League. Fennelly claimed the silver medal in the 110m hurdles with a personal best time of 14.07 (0.01 seconds shy of the school record). Switzer clinched the silver in the pole vault, clearing 3.97m. Kulis took the silver in the heptathlon, breaking her own school record with a total of 5,006 points (353 points more than her previous record).
