CUMBERLAND, R.I. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Marist 7-0 in non-conference action at the Fore Court Racquet & Fitness Club. The Crusaders fall to 2-5 on the season, while the Red Foxes improve to 4-4 overall.

DOUBLES ACTION:
• Marist began the day with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions to take the doubles point.

SINGLES PLAY:
• The Red Foxes then swept the singles matches to claim the overall victory.
• The closest match of the day came at No. 4 singles, where sophomore Alison Lynn fell to Vihana Shresta 6-1, 7-6.

NEXT UP:
• The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday, March 15, when they play host to Colgate.
