WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team was defeated by Colgate 7-0 in its Patriot League opener at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility. The Crusaders fall to 2-6 on the season, while the Raiders improve to 8-6 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION:
• Colgate began the day by sweeping all three matches to take the doubles point.
SINGLES PLAY:
• The Raiders then won all six singles matches in straight sets to claim the overall victory.
NEXT UP:
• The Crusaders will return to action on Friday, March 21, when they face Loyola (Md.) in West Point, N.Y.
