WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team ended its weekend in West Point squaring off against Patriot League foe Lafayette and was downed 4-1 Sunday morning.

The loss sends the Crusaders to 2-11, 0-3 PL while the Leopards move to 2-6, 1-1 PL

DOUBLES ACTION:

• The Leopards captured the doubles point inning at No. 1 and No. 3
• Freshman Phoebe Devine and senior Ashley Zilora battled at No. 1 falling by a close 6-4 score.

SINGLES PLAY:

• Lafayette tallied a trio of wins at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6 singles to take the match.
• Freshman Margaret Winiecki had the lone Crusader win in singles play at No. 3 winning 6-3, 6-4.

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders welcome Stonehill (2-9, 2-2 NEC) to Worcester for a non-conference bout on Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m.
