LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team took part in the third day of competition at the Patriot League Championship hosted by Bucknell at the Kinney Natatorium.
Holy Cross is in 10th place through three days of action with a total of 230.5 points. The top three remain unchanged with Navy (1,092.5), Army (902.5) and Bucknell (736) at first, second and third.
A total of nine members of the program qualified for the finals on Friday evening. They participated in the "C" final.
Junior
Ainsley Nalen recorded seven points for the Crusaders in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:51.85. Sophomore
Devin Brindle posted a 55.84 time in the 100-yard butterfly which earned six points to the team total. Freshman
Natalie Neno had a 1:06.19 showing in the 100-yard breaststroke tallying five points.
In the one-meter dive, freshman
Brenna Short had a 178.85 score in the "B" final.
Holy Cross hits the pool on Saturday, Feb. 22 for the final day of competition.
