ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Sophomore
Ellie Reinhart broke the school record in the 100-yard backstroke, as the Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team competed in day two of the Patriot League Championship at Lejeune Hall. Through seven events, the Crusaders stand in ninth place as a team with 140 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• The 400-yard medley relay team of Reinhart, sophomore
Josie Gieseman, junior
Devin Brindle and senior
Nora Smillie took ninth place (3:47.60).
• Reinhart's leadoff split of 56.77 on that relay set a new school record in the 100-yard backstroke.
• Junior
Kat Anticev placed 19th in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:57.81.
• Sophomore
Brenna Short was 19th in the one-meter diving (218.25).
• Brindle finished 21st in the 50-yard freestyle (23.90).
• Sophomore
Lily Mitchell came in 24th in the 200-yard individual medley (2:08.45).
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will continue competition in the Patriot League Championship on Friday, Feb. 20.
