HONORS & AWARDS:
• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2023-2024)

AS A JUNIOR IN 2024-2025:
• Swam a leg on the school-record setting 800-yard freestyle relay team (7:30.04) at the Patriot League Championship
• Placed 18th in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.85, personal best) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.32) at the Patriot League Championship
• Broke the meet record in the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.56) at the Worcester City Championship
• Swam a personal best time of 5:02.46 in the 500-yard freestyle at the Harold Anderson Invitational

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2023-2024:
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll
• Broke the school record in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.11) at the Harold Anderson Invitational
• Swam a leg on the school-record setting 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:34.98) at the Patriot League Championship
• Placed 12th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:02.30) at the Patriot League Championship  
• Received the Cathy Desrosiers Award as the Female Swimmer of the Meet at the Worcester City Championship, after winning the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.27) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:14.94)
• Had numerous other first place finishes throughout the season, in the 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2022-2023:
• Won the 200-yard backstroke at the Harold Anderson Invitational (2:02.75)
• Recorded a dozen first place finishes throughout the season, the second most on the team

HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB:
• Competed at Weston (Mass.) High School under head coach Jim McLaughlin 
• Team captain as a senior
• Earned All-Scholastic honors from both the Boston Globe and the Boston Herald
• Set school records in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay
• Also competed for the Aces Swim Club Colorado
• The 2019 Colorado state champion in the long course 200 backstroke

PERSONAL:
• Father, Thomas Nalen, played football at Boston College and for 15 seasons with the Denver Broncos
• Sister, Delaney Nalen, played field hockey at Bates College
• Brother, Kyle Nalen, played lacrosse at Hobart College
• Majoring in Psychology
