LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team established a new program record following the first day of competition at the Patriot League Championship hosted by Bucknell at the Kinney Natatorium.
Holy Cross recorded 95 points and is in ninth place following the conclusion of day one. Navy (218), Army (184) and Bucknell (162) are in first, second, and third place respectively.
The 800-yard medley relay team consisting of sophomore
Devin Brindle, sophomore
Kat Anticev, sophomore
Courtney Boghosian, and junior
Ainsley Nalen earned 44 points to the team total finishing with a time of 7:30.04.
In the diving events, freshman
Brenna Short posted a 223.50 score on the three-meter board.
Holy Cross will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the conference championship.
