WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior
Celia Kulis of the Holy Cross women's track & field team won the 60 meter hurdles at Saturday's Alden Invitational and has been named Patriot League Indoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
This marks the first career Patriot League Athlete of the Week award for Kulis who led the Crusaders to a second-place finish in the team standings at the meet hosted by Brown.
The Wilmington, Mass., native won the 60 meter hurdles as she matched her personal-best with a time of 8.55 seconds and also finished second in the high jump at a mark of 1.56m. Kulis' 60 meter hurdles time tied the PR she had set at the 2025 Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Holy Cross returns to action on Friday afternoon for the Dartmouth December Invitational with action getting underway at 2:30 p.m.
