WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross Field Hockey junior midfielder Maguire Sturgis was named to the All-Patriot League First Team and sophomores forward Kendall Brady and goalkeeper Mia McCloskey were named to the Second Team, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Sturgis had a career year on the midfield line for the Crusaders in 2025, recording career-highs in points, goals, and game-winning goals. Sturgis' nine goals and 23 points led Holy Cross and ranked sixth and fifth in the Patriot League, respectively. Sturgis scored the game-winning goals in a 2-1 win over Georgetown and the 2-0 shutout of Lehigh.
 
Brady was a staple in the Crusaders lineup in her sophomore season, playing 700 minutes over 16 games. Brady's five defensive saves this season led the Crusaders and ranked third in the Patriot League, while her six goals ranked tenth in the league and second for Holy Cross.

McCloskey backstopped all 16 games for Holy Cross this season, finishing with a 6-10 record. McCloskey's 7.69 saves per game and 123 saves this season led the Patriot League and ranked ninth and tenth in the nation, respectively. Her 2.58 goals-against average ranked fourth in the Patriot League and her .750 save percentage was a career best that ranked third in the Patriot League.
 
Holy Cross concluded its 2025 campaign with an overall record of 6-10 and an 2-4 mark in Patriot League play.
