WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head women's basketball coach Candice Green has announced that three student-athletes will join the Crusaders in the fall of 2026. Abby Casper (Cromwell, Conn.), Camden Epstein (Wyckoff, N.J.) and Maddie Provost (Albion, Maine) make up the class of 2030.
"We are thrilled to welcome the Holy Cross Women's Basketball Class of 2026. Cam, Maddie, and Abby will make an immediate impact—in the classroom, on the court, and throughout our community. Each brings a unique skill set that will complement our returning group and elevate our program," said Green. "Cam, our Jersey native, brings size, toughness, and the ability to shoot from anywhere on the floor. Maddie is a skilled combo guard who can shoot the lights out while also creating for her teammates. Abby is a versatile scorer who can stretch the defense and play with strength around the rim. Beyond basketball, these three outstanding young women embody the character, work ethic, and commitment needed to uphold the standard and tradition of Holy Cross Basketball. We can't wait to get started."
Casper is a 6'0" forward who played four seasons of varsity basketball at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, Conn., under head coach Alison Connors. She served as a team captain during her junior and senior years and led the team to three State Championship victories (Class L in 2024-25, Class MM in 2023-24 and Class S in 2022-23). She was selected as the Max Preps Player of the Year, GametimeCT Player of the Year and was a Gatorade Player of the Year Nominee, all in 2024-25. Casper is a two-time All-State selection (2023 & 2025), two-time State Championship Game MVP (2023 & 2025) and three-time All-CCC and All-Academic Team selection (2022-2025). She hit the 1000 point milestone, currently owns 1,472 career points, and is Northwest Catholic's single-season all-time high scorer (562 points in 2023-24). The Connecticut native also plays basketball for the D4S (Drive 4 Stardom) club team under head coach Donta Johnson and is a member of the Northwest Catholic soccer team during the fall.
Epstein is a 5'10" guard who played four seasons of varsity basketball at Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, N.J., under head coach Sandra Gordon. She served as a team captain during her junior and senior years. She is a three-time First Team All-League selection (2023-25), 2025 First Team All-County and hit the 1000 point milestone in the 2024-25 season. Epstein also plays basketball for the Jersey Gemz EYBL club team under head coach Audrey Taylor. In 2023, she helped the Jersey Gemz win the Nike National Championship.
Provost is a 5'7" guard who played four seasons of varsity basketball at Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine, under head coach Greg Chesley. She served as a team captain during her senior year and helped her team to the 2023-24 Class A State Championship. She is a two-time All-Conference choice (First Team 2023-25, Second Team 2022-23), two-time All-State Team selection (2023-25) and the 2023-24 KVAC Player of the Year. Provost holds the Lawrence school record in most single-game points (37), most single-season points (440 in 2024-25) and most three-pointers made in a quarter (6 in 2024-25) while being only the sixth 1000th point scorer in Lawrence school history. The Maine native is also a member of the Lawrence soccer team, where she was a two-time Sportsmanship Award recipient (2024 & 2025).
