BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Men's and women's cross country competed at the Patriot League Cross Country Championship hosted by Lehigh and held at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course on Friday, Oct. 31. Both teams competed against nine other schools in the conference.

Juniors Siena Brunetti was Holy Cross's top finisher, claiming seventh place overall with a time of 21:05.8 on the six-kilometer course. The Crusaders finished in eighth with a total of 203 points. Army captured the team title with 21 points, followed by Bucknell with 48 points and Navy in third with 99 points.

Freshman Megan Moran earned a 47th-place finish with a time of 22:14.9, while fellow freshman Allie Kaull came in 58th at 22:32.0. Senior captain Abby Granrath (66th, 22:46.0) and sophomore Chloe Dibb (76th, 23:12.1) rounded out the Holy Cross top five runners.

Brunetti was named to the First Team All-Patriot League with her seventh-place finish (21:05.8).

Junior Joseph Mahon finished third overall, crossing the finish at 24:23.5 on the eight-kilometer course. The Crusaders finished in seventh with a total of 158 points. Navy captured the team title with 28 points, followed by Army with 58 points and American in third with 116 points.

Senior captain Liam Lyons earned a 13th-place finish with a time of 24:50.0, while senior Ben Stone came in 46th with a time of 25:57.0. Junior Thomas Speltz (56th, 26:12.7), and sophomore Jack Larkin (61st, 26:23.4) rounded out the Holy Cross top five runners.

Mahon and Lyons both earned All-Patriot League honors. Mahon took home First Team All-Patriot League after his third-place finish (24:23.5) and Lyons earned Second Team All-Patriot League, placing 13th overall (24:50.0).

The Crusaders return to action on Friday, Nov. 14, when they take part in the NCAA Northeast Regional held at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
