AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2025 OUTDOOR (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in six meets
  • Set a personal best 3000m time of 9:06.97 for 12th place at the Emory Spring Break Classic (Mar. 21-22)
  • Took sixth in the 1500m with a time of 4:00.54 at the Silfen Invitational (Apr. 11-12)
  • Set a personal best 1500m time of 3:56.45 for sixth place at the Maine State Pine Tree Classic (Apr. 18-19)

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2024-25 INDOOR (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in two meets
  • Set a personal best mile time of 4:28.73 for 56th place at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener (Dec. 7)
  • Placed fourth in both the 600m (1:29.43) and the 4x400m relay (3:47.42) at the USM Husky Invitational (Jan. 25)

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2024 CROSS COUNTRY (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in six meets
  • Opened the season with a 6k personal best time of 19:40.1 to place 21st at the CBBT Opener (Sept. 7)
  • Had a personal best 8k time of 26:11.5 for 113th place at the Connecticut College Invitational (Oct. 19)
  • Came in 69th place, running a 27.02.1 8k time at the NCAA Division III East Region Cross Country Championships (Nov. 16)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2024 OUTDOOR (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in four meets
  • Finished fifth in the 400m with a personal best time of 52.30 at the Monks Track & Field Meet (Apr. 12-13)
  • Helped the 4x800m relay team to an eighth-place finish (7:59.39) at the NESCAC Outdoor Championship (Apr. 27)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023-24 INDOOR (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in nine meets
  • Won the 800m (2:01.9) and clinched second in the 4x400m relay (3:33.11) at the Bates Invitational and Multi (Jan. 19-20)
  • Set a personal best 1000m time of 2:34.33 for 21st place at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic (Jan. 26-27)
  • Claimed third in the 600m with a personal best time of 1:25.04 at the Maine State Indoor Championships (Feb. 3)
  • Set an 800m personal best time of 1:59.40 to take third at the Colby Invitational (Feb. 17)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023 CROSS COUNTRY (AT COLBY COLLEGE): 

  • Competed in four meets
  • Had a season-best 8k time of 27:02.7 for 43rd place at the Suffolk Invitational (Oct. 14)

BEFORE HOLY CROSS (HIGH SCHOOL): 

  • Four-season varsity member of the cross country and track and field teams at Moses Brown High School in Providence, R.I., under head coach Matty Bennett
  • Served as a cross country and track and field team captain in 2022-23
  • Four-time XC First Team All-Division (2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022)
  • 2022 XC First Team All-State XC
  • Two-time Track First Team All-Division (2022 & 2023)
  • Two-time Track First Team All-State (2022 & 2023)
  • Two-time Cross Country Team MVP (2021 & 2022)
  • Two-time Indoor and Outdoor Track Team MVP (2022 & 2023)
  • 2022 Cross Country Team Sportsmanship Award
  • 2022 Highest State Meet finisher and highest New England finisher, 5k (15:56) for the Moses Brown XC school record
  • Set eight Moses Brown XC course school records
  • Set four Moses Brown indoor track school records: 1500m (4:06.28), 3k (9:05.46), 1k (2:36.63), 800m (1:57.58)
  • Set three Moses Brown outdoor track school records: 3k (9:04.9), 1500m (4:03.58), 800m (1:54.68)
  • Fletcher Athletic Award recipient, given to a student-athlete who has demonstrated exceptional work in the classroom as well as on the field
  • Ran for the Rumford Road Runners club team under coach Scott Grandfield
  • Also a member of the Moses Brown baseball and basketball teams

PERSONAL: 

  • His sister, Katherine, played softball at Gettysburg College (Class of ‘23)
  • His parents, Johannah and Jim, are both Holy Cross alumni (Class of '97)
  • His aunt, MaryHelen Gustafson, and uncle, Kurt Gustafson, are both Holy Cross alumni (Class of ‘04)
  • Majoring in economics
  • Chose Holy Cross because of the great academics and the chance to compete at a Division I level
