WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team hosted Providence, Stonehill and New Haven for the Holy Cross Women's Invitational on Sept. 27-28 at the Sinnott Family Tennis Facility.

Freshman Hannah Flynn was an unblemished 2-0 in singles while also collecting a win in doubles for the Crusaders.

SINGLES PLAY (SATURDAY)

• Flynn picked up a 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 win against Flora Eidson of Providence.
• Senior Maddie Hamm also defeated Allison Root of Providence by a 7-6, 6-4 score.
• Flynn upended New Haven's Micaela Rosignuolo 7-6, 6-2.
• Freshman Margaret Winiecki earned a 6-4, 6-4 win over Manon Hallemans of New Haven.

DOUBLES ACTION (SUNDAY):

• Freshman Phoebe Devine and her doubles partner, Flynn were victorious over Camila Barrera and Sophie Ahlberg of Providence, 6-3.
• Senior Ashley Zilora and junior Alison Lynn earned a 6-2 win against Anneliese Beltran and Lauren Krise of Providence.
• Zilora and Lynn posted a 6-3 decision over New Haven's Leni Bischof and Addison Rosser.

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders (2-0) travel to Wagner (1-0) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct, 4.
