WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Ashley Zilora of the Holy Cross women's tennis team has been named to the 2026 Academic All-Patriot League Team as voted by the league's sports information directors announced by the conference office Friday afternoon.

Zilora is the fourth different student-athlete in program history to be named Academic All-League and first selection since 2016.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key reserve. The league's sports information directors cannot vote for their institution's student-athletes.

A one-time Patriot League honorable mention choice, Zilora a biology major recorded a 3.87 GPA. She went 5-9 in singles play in the spring season, which was the second most wins on the team. In doubles action, Zilora was 5-10 in the spring, which tied for the team lead in doubles wins. She also set a career-high in doubles wins (8) across the 2025-26 campaign.

Zilora recorded the match clinching point in the Patriot League Tournament First Round upset against Lafayette on April 16 as she brought home the 6-4, 6-7, and 6-2 win at No. 5 singles over Lafayette's Alexandra Waldman. She also had a victory at No. 2 doubles, 6-2 over Sophia Pacheco and Maria Romaniello. The Crusaders came back from a 3-1 deficit in the match which was their first Patriot League Tournament Win since 2016.

Off the court, Zilora Participated in the Engaged Athlete Fellowship for The Team while also competing over 30 community service hours this past school year. She also is currently coordinating a food drive with Juniper Outreach that will benefit students in need throughout the Worcester public school system during high-demand times such as long weekends and breaks.
Holy Cross finished the 2025-26 season with a 4-16 record.
