LEWISBURG, Pa.— The Holy Cross track and field teams wrapped up the final day of the Patriot League Championships hosted by Bucknell on Saturday, May 4. The Crusaders finished strong with both teams placing sixth overall.

The men accumulated 48.5 points and the women tallied 46.5 points in total.

MEN'S MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Senior Mike Mazzocca claimed the silver in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.28. Right behind him was junior Brian Fennelly who took the bronze with a time of 14.69. Junior Josh Exantus who also competed in the event finished in seventh with a time of 15.11.
• Sophomore Liam Lyons claimed the bronze in the 1500m run with a time of 3:46.07, a personal best.
• Freshman Matthew Perkins took fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.40. Fennelly finished right after Perkins in sixth at 54.68 in the event.
• Freshman Michel Mondesir placed seventh in the high jump clearing 1.90m. Freshman Chandler Dicks also competed in the event coming in a shared eighth jumping a 1.85m mark.
• Freshman Ryan Hatem finished the decathlon in fifth place overall with 6,049 points.
• The men's 4x100 relay team including Fennelly, Exantus, junior Aidan Bergin and Mazzocca finished in fourth with a time of 41.94.
• The men's 4x400 relay team consisting of freshman Luke Boothroyd, senior Rigoberto Alfonso, junior Stephen Joseph and junior Andrew Van De Mark came in ninth with a time of 3:24.77.

WOMEN'S MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Junior Ella Grey took the bronze in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.00. Sophomore Celia Kulis also competed in the event following right behind Grey in fourth with a time of 14.21.
• Kulis finished fourth in the heptathlon with a total 4,569 points and junior Jane Feeney came in seventh with 4,209 points.
• Junior Haley Murphy took the bronze in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.06.
• Junior Abby Hughes claimed fourth in the 1500m run clocking in at 4:33.46.
• Senior Kiley Ronan came in fifth in the 400m with a time of 56.48.
• Sophomore Alex Lusby claimed fifth in the 800m run with a time of 2:09.92.
• The 4x100 relay team including sophomore Giavanna Ciaravino, junior Molly O'Connor, sophomore Olivia Foster and Grey came in seventh place with a time of 48.01.
• The 4x400 relay team consisting of Ronan, Lusby, Murphy and O'Connor came in fifth with a time of 3:49.79.

• The Holy Cross track and field teams will return to action to host the New England Championship on May 10-11 at the Hart Track and Hart Turf
