CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The no. 21 Holy Cross men's rowing opened its spring season at the Alumni Cup, sweeping no. 25 MIT, on the Charles River on Saturday.
 
RESULTS:

• The varsity eight+ dominated their race, taking down MIT's boat by eight seconds, finishing with a time of 6:53.8.
• The second varsity eight+ and third varsity eight+ finished with times of 7:24.0 and 7:27.5, defeating MIT's second varsity eight+.
• The varsity four+ 'A' finished in first with a time of 8:42.6, while the varsity four+ 'B' finished third with a time of 9:21.9.

WHAT'S NEXT:

• Men's rowing will return to action on Sunday, April 14, when it travels to Fairfax, Va. for the Occoquan Invitational.
