Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete (2023)
 

2023-2024 (Senior):

  • Placed second at the Wormtown Chase (10/28) and  competed at the Princeton Chase (11/5) with the third varsity 8+.
  • Coxswain for six spring races.
    • Competed against no. 8 Pennsylvania and no. 14 Cornell (5/3) and no. 22 Oregon St. (5/4) with the second varsity eight.
    • Defeated MIT's second varsity 8+ at the Alumni Cup (3/30), finished fourth at the Occoquan Invitational (4/14), second in home invitational against no.13 Boston U., no. 22 Temple, Marist, and Hobart (4/20), and competed at the Eastern Sprints (5/19) with the third varsity eight.
2022-2023 (Junior):
  • Competed in seven spring events as the coxswain for the third varsity eight.
    • Helped the third varsity eight to wins over St. Joe's (4/22), Hobart (4/23), and Oregon St. (4/29).
    • Member of the 3V8 that won the New England Championship (5/6).
  • Named an Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athlete.
2021-2022 (Sophomore):
  • Competed in all four fall races.
    • Was the coxswain for the second varsity eight that placed 5th at the Snake Regatta (10/17), 16th at the Head of the Charles (10/24), 2nd at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30), and 29th at the Princeton Chase Regatta (11/7). 
  • Competed in seven spring events.
    • Was the coxswain for the second varsity eight three times, and the third varsity eight four times.
    • Placed first at the Jesuit Invitional (3/26) with the second varsity eight.
    • Won the grand final at New England Championships (4/30) with the third varsity eight.
2020-2021 (Freshman):
  • Saw action in all five events on the season as the coxswain of the third varsity eight.
  • Part of the third varsity eight that finished 14th at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship.
  • Helped the Crusaders to a 15th place team finish at the IRA National Championship, the best in program history.
  • Fall portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
  • Came to Holy Cross from the Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Newton, Mass.
PERSONAL:
  • Majoring in Chinese and Political Science.
