ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team fell to Navy, 17-7, Saturday afternoon at the Navy Marine-Corps Memorial Stadium.
Nine Crusaders (2-6, 0-4 Patriot League) recorded points, led by senior
Matt Major, junior
Michael Bonomo, and freshman
Luca Ward, who picked up two points each. Sophomore Micheal Rincon led the squad with two caused turnovers and four ground balls on defense.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Navy got out to a 2-0 lead before Major and sophomores William Stahl and Will Messineo recorded a goal each to put the score at 3-2 in favor of the Crusaders.
- A strong second and third period put Navy up 11-4 going into the final frame of play.
- Ward, Bonomo, and senior Cole Kratovil found the back of the net in the fourth quarter.

- Holy Cross will continue their Patriot League schedule next Saturday, March 30, when they welcome Boston University to Kuzniewski Field for a Turnpike Trophy matchup.
- Game time is set for 1 p.m.
