Fifth year center
Christo Kelly of the Holy Cross football team was named to the Football Championship Subdivision All-ECAC Team, as announced on Thursday, Dec. 19.
It is the latest accolade for Kelly, who was an All-Patriot League first team selection in addition to earning Academic All-League honors in 2024.
Kelly started all 12 games at center and captained an offensive line that helped the Crusaders average 27.6 points per game in 2024. Holy Cross conceded just 13 sacks this season — the team's 1.08 sacks allowed per game ranked as the best mark in the Patriot League and 11th-best nationally, and the Crusaders only conceded nine sacks total against FCS competition.
During his time at Holy Cross, Kelly made 36 career appearances, including 22 starts at center.
Kelly was also one of 22 student-athletes named to the AFCA Good Works Team; he served as co-president of the Holy Cross Student-Athlete Advisory Committee this past semester.
The Crusaders clinched a share of an unprecedented sixth straight Patriot League Championship with a 5-1 league record in 2024 — extending Holy Cross' streak of the most consecutive titles in conference history.
