After taking 10 days off for finals, the Holy Cross men's basketball team will return to action when it travels to Quinnipiac on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. The contest between the Crusaders and the Bobcats will be shown live on ESPN+.
Holy Cross owns an overall record of 5-5 so far this year, but has dropped three of its last four games. Freshman guard
Max Green leads the team by averaging 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, while hitting 42.6 percent of his three-point attempts. Sophomore forward
Joe Nugent has added 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest, while senior forward
Caleb Kenney is chipping in with 10.4 points, 3.2 boards and 1.2 blocks per game.
Quinnipiac stands 5-5 overall this season, including a 2-0 mark in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Junior forward Amarri Monroe has led the team by averaging 14.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game, while hitting 78.4 percent of his foul shots. Senior forward Paul Otieno has put up 12.2 points, 8.1 points and 2.0 blocks per game, with sophomore guard Khaden Bennett adding 11.3 points and 3.8 boards per contest.
After the game with Quinnipiac, Holy Cross will head to Siena for a 7 p.m. contest on Friday, Dec. 20.
