KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team placed third at the Harold Anderson Invitational which concluded up Sunday at the Tootell Aquatic Center at Rhode Island.
Holy Cross tallied 813.5 points improving their score from 713 points in 2023. Wagner (856) finished first while Providence was runner-up (842.5).
Both men's and women's teams set 32 lifetime bests during the meet. The men also had 23 times added to the top-20 in program history this weekend.
Junior
Jack Greiner picked up his third first place showing of the meet in the 200-yard backstroke setting a new program record at 1:46.93.

Zach Bubonovich posted a second place performance in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:05.50). Senior
Rory Hess added third in the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.25).

Jake Thompson hit the wall third with a time of 3:05.11. It was the second fastest time in program history.
The Crusaders will be back in action in the new year when they battle Patriot League opponent Colgate (1-4, 0-2 PL) in a dual meet on Jan. 17, 2025, at noon in the Hart Center Pool.
