KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team took to the Tootell Aquatic Center on Saturday for the third day of competition at the Harold Anderson Invitational hosted by Rhode Island.

Holy Cross (524.5), who was in first following day two dropped to third place. Providence (593) advanced to first while Wagner (565.5) jumped to second.

Junior Jack Greiner picked up his second first place showing of the weekend in the 400-yard individual medley posting a time of 3:55.86.

Freshman Peter Mottolese earned points to the Crusader total with a second-place showing in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:41.89. Junior Zach Bubonovich placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke (57.17).

On the diving side, freshman Griffin Casey clinched the sweep for Holy Cross on both boards as he took home first on the one-meter board at (277.70).

10 student-athletes competed in the "A" finals for the Crusaders on Saturday while 20 participated in the finals overall.   

Holy Cross looks to capture the championship on Sunday, Nov. 24 with the meet beginning at 10 a.m.
