KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team participated in the second day of the Harold Anderson Invitational on Friday in the Tootell Aquatic Center hosted by Rhode Island.
Holy Cross dropped a slot in the rankings to fourth place (191) as Maine (212) leapfrogged them in the invite standings. Vermont (347) climbed to the top slot while Rhode Island slid to second (334).
Freshman diver
Brenna Short had the performance of the day for the Crusaders as she took home first place in the one-meter dive (283.35).
Junior
Ainsley Nalen competed in the 500-yard freestyle "A" finals and picked up a fifth place showing at 5:02.46.
Overall, the Crusaders had four student-athletes qualify for the "A" finals and a total of 17 compete in the finals this evening.
The Crusaders will be back in action for day three on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.
