KINGSTON, R.I. – The Holy Cross women's swimming and diving team started off the four day Harold Anderson Invitational on Thursday at Rhode Island in the Tootell Aquatic Center.
Holy Cross is in third place with 90 points. They trail host Rhode Island (128) and Vermont (122) and hold a 12-point edge over fourth place Maine (78).
The Crusaders posted their best showing ever in the 800-yard freestyle relay as sophomore
Courtney Boghosian, sophomore
Devin Brindle, freshman
Samantha Schwarting and junior
Ainsley Nalen came in third place with a 7:34.66 time.
In the 200-yard medley relay, freshman
Laura Arciniegas, freshman
Natalie Neno, Brindle and Nalen hit the wall at 1:46.91.
Boghosian and freshman
Ellie Reinhart (27.04) had flat start lifetime best legs in their respective relays.
The Crusaders will be back in action for day two tomorrow at 10 a.m.
