Women’s basketball announces three signings

WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross women's basketball interim head coach Candice Green has announced the addition of three student-athletes that will comprise the class of 2029. Kimora Berry (Buffalo, N.Y.), Mackenzie Teevan (Holmdel, N.J.) and Asia Wilson (Rochester, N.Y.) will arrive on The Hill in 2025-26.

Kimora Berry | G/F | 5-9 | Buffalo, N.Y. | Williamsville South
  • Played four years of varsity under head coach Kristen Dolan.
  • Two-time team captain. 
  • Named to the Section VI first team during her junior year.
  • Team won their section and finished first in their league in 2022-23. 
  • Averaged 22.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in 2023-24. 
  • Undecided major with a career objective of business or physical therapy.
Coach Green on Kimora Berry: "We're excited to bring Kimora to Worcester! Kimora is a versatile guard who plays both sides of the ball with such intensity. Her ability to rebound, defend multiple positions, and get to the rim whenever she wants will immediately impact the program."

Mackenzie Teevan | F/C | 6-4 | Holmdel, N.J. | Holmdel
  • Played four years of varsity under head coach Jessica Venturelli.
  • Team captain during her senior year.
  • Team earned the academic excellence award in 2023-24.
  • All-Shore second team in 2023-24. 
  • Asbury Park Press Third Team All-Shore in 2023-24.
  • Asbury Park Press Top-10 Juniors in 2023-24. 
  • Asbury Park Press Readers Choice Sophomore of the Year in 2022-23.
  • First team All-Division in 2023-24.
  • Second team All-Division in 2022-23.
  • Team is a three-time A-Costal Public Division Champion.
  • Set the school record for single-season rebounds.
  • Through three years has amassed 667 points, 474 rebounds and 120 blocks.
  • Also competed for the New Jersey Shoreshots under head coach Tracey Sabino.
  • Was a member of the U18 Irish National Team (2023-24).
  • Founder of the American Sign Language (ASL) Club.
  • Member of the National, Business and Spanish Honors Society.
  • Plans to major in economics with a career objective of a business executive.
  • Her uncle, John Jr. and cousin Marty attended Holy Cross. 
Coach Green on Mackenzie Teevan: "Mackenzie has deep roots here at Holy Cross, we love that we can continue her family's tradition here. Mackenzie is someone who excels in the classroom and the community. On the court Kenz brings paint protection, a block presence, and the ability to shoot." 

Asia Wilson | G | 5-5 | Rochester, N.Y. | Bishop Kearney
  • Played five seasons of varsity under head coach Kevan Sheppard.
  • Was the 2024 Team MVP.
  • Team captain (2023-24).
  • 2024 Private Parochial Player of the Year.
  • 2024 Democrat & Chronicle All-Greater Rochester First Team All-Star.
  • 2024 Basketball Coaches of New York Tournament Champion and MVP of the tournament.
  • 2022 New York State Championship team member.
  • Scored 36 points in a single game which was a school record.
  • Has 923 points through her junior year.
  • Led team in scoring her junior year with 21.6 points per game.
  • Also competed for the I-90 and Team Northeast Basketball Club Teams.
  • Plans to major in psychology at Holy Cross with a career objective to be a sports psychologist. 
Coach Green on Asia Wilson: "We're ecstatic to have Asia join the Holy Cross family. This young woman brings character and leadership. Her game will speak for itself - she's someone who can guard endline to endline and score in a number of ways." 

Holy Cross continues their road trip on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Vermont with tip-off set for 1 p.m. Single-game tickets for the 2024-25 campaign are now on sale through the Holy Cross Ticket Office.
