Due to a recent system issue impacting the ice surface at the DCU Center, the Holy Cross men's ice hockey game scheduled for Saturday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. against Quinnipiac will now take place at the College of the Holy Cross' Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. Repairs to the DCU Center's ice making system will be made the week of October 28, and both sides are eager to schedule future games at the downtown Worcester facility.
"We are extremely disappointed by this situation and appreciate Holy Cross and all the fans' understanding," said Sandy Dunn, General Manager for the DCU Center. "After a review of all options, we were left with this being the only alternative. We expect to have the repair completed by the next Worcester Railers game on November 8, and will identify opportunities to host Crusader Hockey during the 2025-26 season and beyond."
Tickets purchased for the DCU Center game will be fully refunded. For patrons impacted, Holy Cross will provide a FREE ticket to the relocated contest at the Hart Center Rink. All other details remain the same, and the game will be played Saturday, November 2, with puck drop at 7:00 p.m. The Holy Cross ticket office will contact fans with more information and details.
The Crusader men's hockey schedule has just begun with 13 more home games throughout the 2024-25 season to come.
