LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Holy Cross men's golf team competed at the Bucknell Invitational held at the Bucknell Golf Course. The team finished sixth place overall with play concluding on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Senior captain Nolan Schuermann was Holy Cross's top finisher coming in a shared 18th place after firing a 68 on day one, a 75 on day two and a 73 on the final day of play for a 216 (+6) performance. 

After three rounds of the 54-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 869 (+29) as a team.

COACH'S CORNER:

• "The 2025 Patriot League Championship will be played at Bucknell Golf Club next April. The team played well through 45 holes of the tournament and despite some struggles on the final nine holes," said director of golf Steve Napoli. "The experience of playing three rounds of competition on the Bucknell course will be helpful in April. Freshman James O'Connor shot an impressive even par 70 in his college debut."

• The Crusaders return to action for their final competition of the fall on Oct. 26 for the Ledgemont Match Play against Rhode Island, Bryant and Merrimack in Seekonk, Mass. held at the Ledgemont Country Club.
