GLEN COVE, N.Y. – Freshman
Leo Chu finished in a tie for fourth place as an individual, as the Holy Cross men's golf squad came in 10th as a team in the Shark Invitational at the Nassau Country Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Chu shot 72-72-67 to finish the tournament at one-over par (211).
• Chu's 67 (three-under par) on the final day tied for the fourth-lowest round in program history.
• Freshman
John Scully finished in 41st place with 222 strokes (74-71-77).
• Freshman
Rohan Shastry earned a 55th place finish, shooting 74-77-75 (226).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were junior
Ryan Scollins (74th / 231) and senior
Brian Glennon (77th / 232).
• Matthew Young of Bryant claimed the individual title at four-under par (206).
TEAM SCORES:
• Bryant and Northern Colorado tied for the team title with three-round totals of 849 (nine-over par).
• Holy Cross finished with 879 strokes.
UP NEXT:
• Holy Cross will return to action when it takes part in the Patriot League Championship at the West Point Golf Course from April 24-26.
