HAMPDEN, Mass. – Freshman
Rohan Shastry finished in 63rd place as an individual, as the Holy Cross men's golf squad came in 20th as a team in the Loyola Intercollegiate at the Palm Valley Golf Club.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Shastry shot 75-73-70 to finish the tournament at two-over par (218).
• Junior
Alex Elia came in 95th, posting scores of 76-75-73 (224).
• Freshman
Leo Chu earned a 102nd place finish, shooting 81-73-72 (226).
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were freshman
John Scully (108th / 227) and junior
Ryan Scollins (112th / 229).
• Carson Baez of Richmond claimed the individual title at 17-under par (199).
TEAM SCORES:
• Richmond took home the team title with a three-round total of 830 (34-under par).
• Holy Cross finished with 888 strokes.
UP NEXT:
• The Crusaders return to action when they take part in the UC San Diego Invitational at the Torrey Pines North Course in San Diego, Calif., from March 22-24.
