CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team had three student-athletes compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association New England Regional at the Beren Tennis Center.

SINGLES ACTION:
• Senior Ahana Nagarkatti was defeated by Sage Loudon of Cornell 6-0, 6-1 in the first round. 
• Nagarkatti was then downed by Gabby Sollman of Brown 6-0, 6-1 in the consolation bracket.

DOUBLES PLAY:
• The team of senior Caroline Carlson and junior Maddie Hamm fell to Olivia Benton and Muskan Mahajan of Boston College 8-1 in the opening round.

NEXT UP:
• Holy Cross returns to action when it plays host to Colby-Sawyer on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 3:30 p.m.
